Reflections on event from our conference host - Jon Bentley

I found The Intelligent City Hub Debate thought-provoking and informative. I was fascinated by the ambition to reshape the geography of Britain through the integration of rail and air transport, and discussion of how train operators can interact with the smarter, more connected rail traveller.

I was impressed by the range of topics covered including the analysis of ways to cut costs through value management and the discussion of new technologies to improve everything from revenue gathering to lighting and car parking.

I am confident that Rail Champions will continue to provide forums for even more inspiring and productive debates in the future.
