Q. Are You an Independent Thinker..?

NEW for 2012 Transport Sector Think-Tank Sessions
Launched this autumn by Rail Champions founder and chairman, Chris Williams-Lilley "..the idea of an industry focused think-tank session has been proposed to ensure cohesion and a sense of purpose for the Rail Champions Group".
Each panel will be drawn from Rail Champions members and other key stakeholders from across the Transport Sector to cover as much business innovation in the rail, highways and aviation segments as possible.
Each panel member will be selected because of their background and professional experience in the industry, but will not specifically represent the interest of a particular company or organization.
That doesn’t mean that they cannot be part of a company or organization, but they should be able to make comments and suggestions that derive from their independent thinking and their own personal observation.
The first event was by invitation only and held on the 29th November, 2011 at Central Court, Holborn (The Majestic Old Patent Office) under "Chatham House Rules".
Sincere thanks to the following supporters of the event;
Alcatel-Lucent / TfL / Codra Software / Microsoft Avnet / Captec / RCM2 / Cubic Transportation Systems / Network Rail / Traffic Directorate / Balfour Beatty Rail / National Skills Academy for Railway Engineering (NSARE) / Community Partnership Solutions / Birmingham Airport / Mouchel / Thales Transportation Systems / Optimum Consultancy / Davmo / Rail Technology Magazine / Northgate / Socomec / London Underground.
Special thanks to Mr. Cliff Perry Bsc FIMechE F.I.R.O MCILT and Vice Chairman of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (Railway Division) for acting as Independent Chairman.
The Think-Tank is just one initiative to review, rejuvenate, or remodel business development in the transport sector.
Output to Think-Tank Sessions
The conclusion of this Think-Tank may be a series of fictive benchmarks and best practices after which players in the industry may start remodeling and improving their current operations or activities.
The outcome of this Think-Tank will become a referral or a focus point for future discussions and activities.
